About Us

With over 25 years of experience in the dental industry, we have a passion for dentistry and Continuing Professional Development. We both started our careers as dental nurses and met in 1995 when we trained as dental hygienists. In 2008 we returned to University together, and in 2011 we graduated from the University of Kent with a BSc (hons) degree in Primary Dental Care. Studying for the degree increased our knowledge of evidence based practice which gave us the knowledge to write CPD for you that is evidence based and is directly linked to improving patient care standards.

We aim to inspire and encourage you to meet your professional requirements by providing you with good quality CPD. The difference between us and other companies is that we tailor our CPD to YOU as a dental hygienist. We are always available to help you by telephone or email at any time and we believe every question you ask has merit. We value quality CPD and we want you to have an enjoyable experience learning from CPD that is relevant to YOUR working day.

Our Story

In 2009, we launched CPD4dentalnurses.co.uk and the business won an award in 2011. Due to the success of this website, we launched CPD4dentalhygiensts in 2012. We are really excited to be offering you, as a dental hygienist, membership to your own website which will provide you with all of your required CPD in an easy and affordable way.

Is to help dental hygienists understand and meet the requirements set out by the General Dental Council to complete and record their CPD.
We value quality and believe that CPD should not be about how many hours you complete, but should be about the quality and relevance of the CPD you are completing.
We are clinicians ourselves, so working in clinical practice means that we understand the difficulties of juggling work, family life and Continuing Professional Development. We are always available personally to take calls and emails relating to your CPD and we have supported many dental hygienists to get back onto the GDC register.
